Smoking
When I was about thirteen years old I started smoking. At first it was just to look cool, but then it became a habit I would soon pay the consequence for. At first it would just be when my friends would do it, but then I began to start doing it on my own. So what started out as maybe two or three cigarettes a day became five, and then before I knew it, it became a pack a day. Well one day at home with my little brother I started to have trouble breathing. I was about 15 years old. Before I knew it, it just felt like I was under water. I was taken to the hospital and the doctors discovered that I had asthma and I had an asthma attack. My parents found out that I smoke and they were very hurt. The doctors told me if I didn’t stop smoking then I would have a great chance in developing emphysema, and maybe lung cancer. Ever since then I have stopped smoking because I knew if I didn’t stop then my life would be short.A) I am pretty sure some of you if not all of you have come in contact with smoking, or second hand smoking.
