Philosopher John Rawls
John Rawls, a welfare state Liberal who worked during the 1970’s, contributed a great amount to philosophical studies. One of his ideas, the original position, was his most lasting contribution to theories on social justice. Original Position is a theoretical situation in which Rawl uses the moral point of view for the interest of the individual. However, a restriction is placed upon the reasoning of the situation.
