We as a society live in a world where media is an important factor in everyone's life. The media has big control over production, distribution, and exhibition. Whether its watching Fox news or picking up the wall street journal, no matter what it may be people want to know what's going in the world. Now the question is, are we as a whole infatuated with the media, are we media slaves, or is the media just entertainment that we enjoy every now or then or is the media just not important to us at all.

The world is full of news that is created by the media. I would find it hard to believe that someone would say that they take no part in what goes on in the world. We are slaves of the media, we read the paper we watch television, and we listen to the radio. The media is all about communication and getting it out to people. The media sends us messages and we receive them, it is a proce


I believe that we are part of a commercialized world where the media affects everything we do. It affects us as far as what we do wear, what we eat everything is commercialized. Its like a business where we see the product every where we go so its placed in our mind. The world is a very trendy place where style comes and goes fazes happen and it all has to do with how well it is commercialized. The clothes that I wear now are because of what everyone is wearing. For example growing up people would see pictures of what their parents wearing bell-bottoms they thought it was funny, but now it seems to be coming back and that was not just a coincidence. Media has a great impact on style and fashion.
