This paper is about Islams; Founder(s), Basic Beliefs, leaders/practitioners, and how Islam illustrates the ideals of Eastern philosophy. It will also include a comparison of Islam to Hinduism. Islam was founded by Muhammad. Muhammad was Islams Prophet, Ruler, and Commander in chief. He was a native son of the Arabian Peninsula. The most sacred place for Muslims is the Ka’bah sanctuary at Mecca. The Ka’bah is believed to be the place where the heavenly blissful power touched the earth directly. According to Muslim tradition the Ka’bah was built by Abraham (also a prophet). The prophets’ mosque in Medina is the next in sanctity.
