Greed in College Schools
Greed takes many shapes and forms and seems to be found in unlikely places. Greedy people are sometimes people you’re supposed to trust and look to for answers. It is found in schools, churches, offices and homes around the world. Taking advantage of the weak is easy because often there are no other possibilities for them. Most recently I have noticed greed taking place upon the students at school in many different ways, which makes it ultimately unavoidable. Books are always one of the great expenses of coming to college. This is a great disadvantage to anybody attending school for several reasons. The cost of books is far too high. This is pure greed because they’re asking in most cases people with very limited budgets to dish over a nice amount of money. Taking only 4 classes a semester, the minimum for full time student, the cost of books can be anywhere from $175 - $300+ per semester. However they do supposedly buy back these books at the end of each semester. For several books I was given about one quarter of the price I paid for it a minimal amount for something less than half a year old. Other times I was told the book could not
