Since I have been struck with the question, I have come to realize that I would not prefer the accompany of a man. It is not the fact that I am a homophobic teenager, or the idea of being criticized by every male member in my family; it merely is because as a man, one craves control over many things. For me it is that I simply want to be the one that relaxes while others do the work, be the head of the household, and attempt to fix things around my territory. These are the things that give me an all time satisfaction of being alive and a basic male in my world.

Not to say that all men are lazy, but, I sure am. If somebody else can do the work rather than the man, then by all means do it. I know that if I did have a husband he would most likely be the same amount as lazy as me, and then no


To be the head of a living area also leans me more toward the idea of not having a husband. Myself and every other man, need some sort of control and idea of what is happening in which the place he is living. All rules and regulations would come by me before they would be enforced. Also, as the head of the household, I would have material control as well. Power on the remote control means a lot to the average man.
