Since I have been struck with the question, I have come to realize that I would not prefer the accompany of a man. It is not the fact that I am a homophobic teenager, or the idea of being criticized by every male member in my family; it merely is because as a man, one craves control over many things. For me it is that I simply want to be the one that relaxes while others do the work, be the head of the household, and attempt to fix things around my territory.
