A group of non-seperatist Puritans, belonging to the Catholic church of England believed that their church was corrupt because it was not open to just the "visible saints." They believed in pre-destiny and thought that only the people destined for heaven should be allowed in the church. This group addressed these concerns to the King of England, Charles I. They told him that they did not want to break away from the church of England, they simply wanted to seperate from the impurities. The King was open to this idea, and in 1629 a ro
