A group of non-seperatist Puritans, belonging to the Catholic church of England believed that their church was corrupt because it was not open to just the "visible saints." They believed in pre-destiny and thought that only the people destined for heaven should be allowed in the church. This group addressed these concerns to the King of England, Charles I.
