There has been substantial research that has implied a connection between personality and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has been shown to have an influence over many job related factors such as performance, inclination to quit, and absenteeism. Since there is some sort of connection, should this relationship play a part when hiring new employees? One personality factor that can play a part is locus of control.
