In Judeo-Christian narratives you have God who created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. So God created light, and there was light. God saw that the light was good and decided to separate the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. On the second day God created Heaven. He created Heaven by separating the midst of waters, and that separated the waters from the waters. And it was so. On the third day God gathered the waters under Heaven into one place and made it into dry land. God now created Earth and the water that he had gathered he called it the Sea's and he seen that it was good. Since it was good he put forth vegetation, plants, seeds, and fruit trees. On the fourth day, God decided to separate the day from the night, which would create days and years. He then created two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night in which he made the stars to rule over the day and night. God saw it a g
ood thing from separating the light from the darkness. On the fifth day God created living creatures that swarm the water and birds to fly over the dry land. As he created both the water creatures and birds we bless them and they would be fruitful and multiply on the earth. On the sixth day we created living creatures such as cattle creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kind. God also created man in his own image, in the image of God he created male and female. He let them have dominion over the creatures in the see, the birds in the air, the cattle, and over all the earth. He blessed them and they would be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. He also created the plants and the fruit trees so they have food to eat. At the end of the seventh day he seen what he created and knew that he was done. For that on the seventh and last day he blessed everything that he had created and rested for the good work he had done. So basically in all the Judeo-Christian stories, God was the creator of everything that was place on earth. Now in Nanabozho narratives it's a little different. Nanabozho, born on an island at the outlet of Lake Superior, was the first son of a spirit from on high and a woman on the earth. Quickly he grew to manhood. By that time his footsteps were so long that he could easily cross the widest river or lake in one stride. He could seize the light
