New franchises move in quite frequently so they can get a piece of the pie. Fast food corporations are becoming more and more prevalent in society everyday. The industry will do nothing but flourish due to the increasing, easy means of production due to technology. Technology is the life line of the industry, it makes the process of making food easy and fast, unlike the traditional way. The fast cookers, computerized cash registers, and many other mechanical devices all add to the efficiency which is due to technology. The industry's success was inevitable because the technologies made it easy and convenient to those on the urban sprawl.
