The Use of Repetition in James Berry’s Speech For Alternativ
With poetry there are many different types of literary terms an author can choose from to enhance not only the style of writing they are trying to portray to the reader but also it’s meaning of the overall poem. Some are used to create mood, others provide a good sense of image and some are just used to enhance the meaning of what the poet is trying to establish. Looking at James Berry’s poem “Speech For Alternative Creation”, many literary terms are found such as metaphor, alliteration and repetition.
