Many times I have heard the statement "if you are a good person you will go to heaven." I myself, before I was a Christian, remember making the same statement. It seems that in today's culture more and more people hold that opinion. Religious pluralism is taking over our society. We as humans find it very hard to believe that our God would allow so many people to go to hell for the fact that they did not ask Jesus into their hearts. As Christians it is our duty to get across to them that there is only one way to God and it is a simple yet important way, thru Jesus Christ.

As I talked with many of my unsaved friends I found that they hold the same ideas about God and the Bible. Those ideas are going to cost them gravely if they don't seek the truth. They don't believe that we were born into sin. My secular friends believe that "white lies" are ok. The

How Can We Know the Bible Is the Word of God?

Matthew 22:43 He said to them, "How then does David in the Spirit call Him Lord, saying: 'The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"'? (NKJ)

When I became a Christian 6 years ago, my mom bought me a Living Bible. I have since moved on to a different translation, with the coaxing from Dr. Soto, but I still refer to my Living Bible for a lot of reading. I like the fact that it is called "Living" Bible. The word of God will never die or fade away. The Bible IS the true and authoritative word of God.
