Much advancement in technology has brought about great changes. One of the greater inventions is television. Though it has many advantages to it, there are just as much dangers lurking behind the coloured box. If one is not careful, there could be drastic changes that the person is not even aware of. Once a person is addicted, they can’t stop the bad habit. Every time a person turns on the television, it gives the following messages: "The things you yourself could do are second rate" "Thank God you have television to bring glamour and professional entertainment into your life!" Not only are these messages insulting, but study after study have shown that television is hurting the quality of human lives.
