A detailed Summary of Ancient Egypt


The primary objective of Business 0001 is to help students to become better acquainted with the University of Pittsburgh, and the city as a whole. Through this cultural assignment I decided to take use of the facilities offered by the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. I used my University identification to gain free access to all exhibits, but decided to concentrate my observations toward the Egyptian exhibit at the museum. At first, attending the museum seemed like a lackluster experience that would provide little benefit to my overall understanding of others cultures. After attending this exhibit I left with an enriched knowledge and a greater love of natural and cultural history. I intended on giving the exhibit a quick walkthrough and then writing a paper ba


There were many other magnificent displays located within the Egyptian exhibit but telling of all of them would take up more then two pages.

I know that this assignment had nothing to do with the School of Business, but it has defiantly enriched my knowledge of the city as a whole. I have lived in this city for my whole life, but have never taken full advantage of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. I attended it on occasion but it was due to "elementary and jr. high field trips." And we all know how they go, a social event rather then a learning experience. I feel that by going to the museum alone I was able to fully concentrate on the exhibits.
