Drinking and Drivin

"We like to party." That was the song everyone was hollering to inside. I walked up to the door and opened I was hit with smoke, the smell of alcohol, and loud people and music. Donald's house looked alive with people. There must have been 100 people packed into his small 1 car garage, and 40 cars in his front lawn. Everything was just like normal at his house except there was quite a few cars carelessly parked in the front lawn instead of the back like normal. But it was Donald's 18th birthday and everyone was ready to celebrate.

She kind of chuckled and said, "Well, they said to party on!" I couldn't believe my ears. I asked Donald's mom what else they said and why they didn't bust the party. She told me that the officer told her to make sure that whoever drives home is sober. I was so surprised and relieved all at once that I almost started crying. I started calling all the people that I knew had phones and were in the cornfield and told them to come back. We got really lucky this time!

"Ring, ring, ring." "Oh no," I thought to myself. What if this is my dad? Where am I going to tell him I am in a cornfield? Yah -right! I yelled at the four people next to me to stop running so I could answer my phone. It was my boyfriend. He had just left the party and heard over his dad's scanner that the cops were there. I was so worried; I had no idea what to do. He was telling me to stay on the phone with him while Matt was yelling at me to get off the phone
