I would like to start off by welcoming everyone to the freshmen convocation. Tonight I have the honor of introducing our guest speaker, Ms. Jackie Stiles, who is going to talk to you all about commitment and work ethic. You won’t find a better person who bases most everything she does on those exact qualities. It is my job to not only introduce Jackie, but also illustrate what she has achieved through her commitment and work ethic to the game of basketball and her life.

The best place to start is the beginning and the beginning for Jackie came on December 21, 1978 when she was born in Kansas City, Kansas.
