Saving Private Ryan
This movie Saving Private Ryan is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is the story of Captain John Miller’s (Tom Hanks) journey to find Private James Francis Ryan (Matt Damon). It starts off with an older man neeling down at a grave of someone and thinking about something. Then it went to a boat of soldiers waiting to make a surprise attack (D-Day). These soldiers get off the boat most of them are shot. This was so sad for me to think of all the men and boys who were killed in this attack. They eventually get to a sea wall where more soldiers are killed. The shooting stops with a view of all the tragic happenings, the water on sea is red and there are people yelling out in agony some for medics and some for mothers. This is a tear jerking scene because it is so real, this is really what happened. Capt. Miller orders soldiers to go over the wall and attack German gun implacements, this is mostly successful because a sniper Private Jackson (Barry Pepper) shoots the German that is shooting at the allieds.
