Merlin

When Merlin was first recorded in history he was labeled a prophet. This recording took place sometime during the 10th century. As time progressed his job of a prophet slowly become that of a magician, wizard, and mentor. He played a major role in the life of King Arthur and his kingdom. Merlin was originally born with the name Emrys when he was born in Caer-Fyrddin. Later on in his life was when he was given the name Merlin.
