The U.S.A in the 1920's was seen as being very prosperous. Did all Americans share in this prosperity in the 1920's?
Well the simple answer is.... no. Yes maybe the business-man did well as the industry out-put had doubled in the 1920's as America had prospered, but in amongst all this there were the less fortunate, people like farmers who could barely afford some supper for there hungry family because the tariffs were too high and they were making no money. Immigrants from places such as Greece, Italy and Europe had come to the country with no qualifications and no money, they had come to the country believing that it was the land of dreams, but it's only the land of dreams if you make it that and with no qualifications and no money how was anyone supposed to have a great life. They could not get a job and in most cases they couldn't even afford a house. As another down point the Americans were totally against immigrants as it was so they had a very hard time.

Now as many people as there was who were living in poverty there were many who took all ht benefits form the boom in the 1920's. The industries of steel, glass, rubber, leather and plastic had doubled from 1914 to 1930 as things like the model T-Ford had hit the production line, thousands were made and in some cases one Model T-Ford rolled of the ware-house door every one minute. That's about 360 cars a working day, which is roughly about six hours. And they didn't just come in one shape cars like the Model s, Model sl and the Model sd were also on the line. They ranged from nice family cars too 1.5 toners to be used as pick up trucks and vehicles for employees to use. This was also the first time they had used sticker printing on vehicles to promote there companies.
In 1927 the first proper passenger airlines were made and for the first time people were able to visit places that are actually out side there back garden. The planes were normal bi-planes, but has were longer and had a small hold with no windows and it was quite cram
