Islam VS. Christianity
Christianity and Islam are two of the respected religions, both of are choices made by individuals. So they are similar and stand differently with their beliefs, practices and even holidays. Christianity is known to man for more than 2000 years and there are many other religions, Islam is one of them that declares Christianity to be the wrong path. Islam was first introduced to man only 1400 years ago and declares itself to be the right and true path. The first and the most critical difference between these two religions is their beliefs. One of these differences is that according to Christians, God can be found in three forms, more likely known to be the Trinity, God the spirit, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. Muslims totally disagree with this theory and declare it wrong. Muslims believe that God can only be found in one state and God has no relatives what so ever. These religions are also different in their holidays. The Muslims have two main holidays on their calendar. Both of which last up to three days; during these days Muslims perform special morning prayers in the mosques and perform sacrifices of animals like lamb, cow or even a camel. These sacrifices add to their good deeds and eliminate sin. There are also pilgrimages during the year. During these pilgrimages Muslims visit the Holy Mosques where they perform specific prayers. One of the other differences in these two religions is the way the people practice them. Christians go to the church two to three times a week there they sit and sing hymns and praise the lord for their salvation. While, it is important for a Muslim to go to the mosque and perform five prayer sessions, at different times, every day.
