My Dream

A detailed Summary of My Dream

It was an excruciatingly hot day in August in the year of 2000. I was at the Sara Lee soccer fields for soccer tryouts for North Forsyth High School. The sweat was dripping off of my face as the coach made his final cuts. "I made it! I made the team!" I thought to myself as my friends and I congratulated each other. On the way home that evening I was in awe that I, Brandon Sparks, made the varsity soccer team at North Forsyth. This really made me think about if I had success on this team, who knows what could happen later in life. I started thinking about how it was my dream to play soccer someday for a college. If I ever wanted this dream to come true I would have to study hard and make good grades in my classes, condition myself to get into better shape, and most importantly continue to work on my soccer skills year-round.

I do not believe that will be a problem for me unless I literally try to fail my classes or skip them just about all the time. I think of myself to be somewhat of an intelligent young man that is capable of doing very well if I apply myself. I highly doubt that my grades will keep me from

would be no point to it. Continuously working on these skills will slowly, but surely, improve my skill level and how good I am at the game. I need to do more then run, work out, and eat right to ensure myself a position on a college soccer team. I have be
