There is a fine line that should not be crossed when involving children. That line is abuse. Abuse comes in many shapes and forms. There is physical abuse that involves punching, slapping, and etc; belittling the child and telling them that they are not good enough. Then there is neglect which is not properly caring for your child. Examples of neglect are not bathing your child regularly, ignoring his/her physical needs, and not caring for your child’s medical needs. When your child gets sick, you automatically feel that you should take him/her to the doctor. But what parent wouldn’t take their child to the doctor? That is a question everyone asked. Some people do not believe in medicine or doctors. They say it is a First Amendment right, freedom of religion. There is a specific group of people called the Followers of Christ that originated in Oregon in 1969 organized by Walter White who thought himself to be God’s hand-picked apostle. This group does not believe in doctors or medicine. They believe that it is God’s will to take people who can not make it without praye
