A detailed Summary of Monte Cristo


The main character is Edmond Dantes, he was a french sailor, he was a good person and a good sailor. He can't read and write.

Edmond han a friend called Fernand Mondego son of the Count Mondego, he was a sailor too from the ship called "Pharaon".

One night Edmond and Fernand arrived to Elba's Island because they need a doctor for their Capitan who was sick.

Napoleon gave a letter to Edmond, he supposed to gave to one old soldier.

Unfortunately the Captain died and they returned to the ship.

They arrived to their destiny, Marseilles, and Mr. Morell after knowed that the Capitain died named Dantes as the Capitain of the Pharaon.

Danglars who was a sailor with more experience and grade than Dantes, sot mad because he wanted to be the Capitan of the ship.

Danglars was a corrup and selfish sailor who wants to became Captain, after all he made. That grade because he accused Edmond Dantes for Conspiracy for the letter he had to deliver.

Edmond was taken prisoner and with the presecutor Villefort, he was sent it to jail because of the name of the receiver Monsieur Clarion, who was Villefort's father.

He was taken to the prision named Chateau d'if .

Mondego talked to Villefort about Dantes liberty, and beg for mercy


One day they were digging and the earth started crashed down and the priest was hitted by stones and that caused him the death.

If Dantes win he'll take Jacopo's place and if he loose he'll get killed. They fougth and Dantes won and he had mercy with Jacopo's life.

I think that revenge is good because you don't have the things rigth how it was. You must not let others persons stand over you.

The story ends or starts to ends when he took revenge of all who betrayed him, Danglars he was an ambitious one so he was arrested by the police for charges of stoaling Monte Cristo's shipment.

The he arrived to Marseilles and looked for news about him.

Villefort was set up by Monte Cristo he confessed his crimes to Monte Cristo but a lot of police man heared it and they took him prisioner.

Villefort was a prosecutor who was against Napoleonists (traitors) and his work was capturing them and send them to jail. He was a corrupt person and an ambitious one.
