Diana

The life of Lady Diana, Princess of Wales, continues to inspire the world today. Ever since she was a child, Diana put smiles on people's faces. As she grew older, began dating Prince Charles, celebrated her highly publicized wedding and participated in royal duties as part of the British monarchy, Diana always seemed to make everyone have a better outlook on themselves. Even in death, she continues to be a positive influence on people everywhere.

Princess Diana was born on July 1, 1961 at Park House, to Edward John and Frances Spencer, her proud parents. Diana's parents had the royal titles of Viscount and Viscountess Althrop. Her own title was the Honorable Diana Frances Spencer. They were an extremely noble family.

In 1987, the media began to notice a glitch in the royal couple's marriage. They were not together when their son, William, returned home from a trip to the hospital, nor were they together on Princess Diana's 30th birthday celebration. The British newspapers began to write headlines about the royal marriage. The papers were calling the marriage "a cause for concern." The princess began to occupy her time with as much charity work as possible, but she couldn't hide from the media or the public that the royal marriage would soon come to an end. In December of 1992, the announcement was made. What seemed to be a fairy tale marriage was now over. (McDonald 24-50) The couple's divorce was final on August 28, 1996. (The marriage Internet)

While Diana was working at the Kindergarten, she also followed through with her love for dancing and attended Miss Betty's Vacini's Dance School. In March of 1979, she began going to The Dance Centre, Covent Garden, to take lessons in tap and jazz.
