The Crucible, by Arthur Miller is a place or situation in which concentrated forces interact to cause or influence change of development ,it is fixated on the Salem witch trials. Although the witch trials is the main aspect of the play , other topics should be looked upon as well. For example two characters in the book, John and Elizabeth Proctor have their own interesting story that is particularly special. In the story, John and Elizabeth are a married couple going through the hardships of their commitment to each other. The Crucible is also a story of a marriage in which a couple struggles to honorably live out their commitment to one another despite their own personal fallings.
