Applebee
A detailed Summary of Applebee
In the fast paced society we live in sometimes it is almost impossible to prepare a healthy, well-balanced meal for a family. There are more then five sit-down restaurants in the Georgesville Square Plaza. I am going to evaluate two of the five because the two are very similar restaurants. The two restaurants that I am going to evaluate are Applebee's and O'Charlies. When I reviewed Applebee's and O'Charlies, they were definitely different in service and quality of food, yet they were similar in price.
The service of the waiter should be good, but at the same time the waiter should not become an annoyance. At Applebee's the waitress came to the table and greeted my friend, Brandon, and me. The waitress began to take our drink order and when she returned with our drinks she asked if we were ready to order. At that time, we were not ready to order and this seemed to disturb the waitress. She never returned until at least ten minutes later. Then she came back to take the order and when our food came out she just placed it in front of us and walked away. She didn't even ask if we would like refills. Throughout the course of our meal the waitress only came back three more times. The times she came back

Finally, the price of the food is not the most important thing about going out and getting a good dinner. Yet, the price is something that is always kept in mind when eating out. When Brandon and I decided to go out to eat we didn't want to spend an extreme amount of money on our dinner. We know that it wasn't going to be a cheap meal, but if someone is looking to spend only about $4 per person then I suggest going to a fast food restaurant. At Applebee's we spent around $20 including the tip and a little over $25 at O'Charlies. Though O'Charlies was about $5 more than Applebee's, the price between them are very similar. To even prove they were very similar in price when I visited both of the restaurants I asked for a takeout menu. This was so I could compare prices of the same foods. The foods that were similar were within dollars of each other. In other words like the saying says, "you get what you pay for."
Another importance at a restaurant is the quality of the food. A restaurant's quality of food will have a lasting impact on its customers. At Applebee's, Brandon and I both ordered the chicken salad and an order of cheese sticks. By the time we got our food the cheese sticks were a little cold as if they sat around before we ever got them. Other than that, the meal was good.
