More than one version has been brought into the industry to work well with the changing technology of computers. The two versions are known as Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server. The Windows NT Server is designed to be used on a computer that is specifically made to withhold information and to be used as a “central office”. This means that all commands will go through this one computer. Windows NT workstation is designed to be used on a computer that is connected to the server. It has only the necessary applications installed on it and uses the server to save files, and to access files.
