Pennsylvania and Kansas

Kansas and Pennsylvania are two beautiful states. Pennsylvania was the second of the original thirteen colonies being admitted into statehood on December 12, 1787. (Pre-Statehood) Kansas on January 29, 1861 was the thirty-fourth state admitted into statehood, seventy-four years after Pennsylvania. (Pre-Statehood) Kansas has strong agricultural production in wheat, sorghum, soybeans, and corn, while Pennsylvania produces dairy, poultry, nursery stock, mushrooms and hay. (Pre-Statehood) Professional sports teams have a greater impact in Pennsylvania than in Kansas, with Kansas only having three professional sports teams to Pennsylvania’s seven. Kansas and Pennsylvania are two states that differ in size, population, agriculture, and professional sports.

On the one hand, Kansas’ population is 2,694,641.
