In Arthur Miller's play, "The Crucible", the people of Salem are very concerned with the truth, the truth is different depending on who is telling it, and people use their version of the truth to benefit themselves. Three people in the play use the accusations of witches to portray their true natures. They are Mr. And Mrs. Putnam, and Reverend Parris.
