Gods Significant Role
In the first two sections of the Old Testament, Genesis and Exodus, you can plainly see the significant role that God plays in human history. Although he was supposed to be thought of as the Supreme Being of all that is good, in the Bible he is not always depicted in this manner. But whether they are positive or negative decisions, our lives would be totally different if God hadn’t interfered. Another interesting point is God’s motives behind his decision. Was he just playing around or did he only involve himself when he felt it absolutely necessary? I feel that God was almost never happy with the humans no matter what they were doing. If they were fighting with each other he destroyed them for being evil and if they were working together, he punished them for trying to gain too much power. I do not think that God always plays the “good guy” role in the bible. In fact, I think that he possesses many humanlike qualities, which makes him act hastily and constantly disrupt humans’ lives.
