Difference Between Macbeth & Lady Macbeth

In the play Macbeth, it explains the tragedy of a man that everyone looks up to because of his accomplishments. People think Macbeth could do no wrong until he kills Duncan, the king that the whole land loves. Macbeth decides not to go through with it, but with Lady Macbeth forcing him to, there's no other choice. Both Lady Macbeth are different in many ways throughout the play. First, Macbeth does not want to kill Duncan because he knows that he will have a guilty conscious afterwards, but Lady Macbeth could care less. Then after the first killing, both of his and her fate change where now Macbeth turns into this cruel and unusual character, where Lady Macbeth starts to feel some remorse for the actions. But with those differences always leads to their similarity, which is being a tragic hero in all of this chaos.

At the beginning of the play, Lady Macbeth speaks and shows how cruel and heartless she really is; "And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full of direst cruelty" (Act 1 Scene 5 lines 49-50). This shows she has no good in her, what so ever. In several instances, she uses blackmail to get her husband to proceed with this plan, "when you durst do it, then you were a man." (Act 1 Scene 7 line 56). She even makes a comp

Another thing that completely changes is both of the character's fate from the beginning, is by Act 3. By the witches saying, "fair is foul, and foul is fair"(Act 1, Scene 1 line 12); a change of the way they feel and act can be seen. Macbeth, full with guilt, evolves to a crazy state of mind similar to that of Lady Macbeth in the beginning. He becomes the forceful husband and puts a large amount of pressure on his wife to keep the front up while he must murder Banquo and to make sure no individual will be able to figure who is doing the killing; "And make our faces vizards to our hearts, Disguising what they are"(Act 3, Scene 2 lines 38-39). Instead of Macbeth going with his first fate, which is being ranked high by being good, he begins to do the complete opposite. Lady Macbeth evolves to a state of mind similar to Macbeth's in Act I. She is not as forceful to add another murder to those already committed; "You must leave this"(Act 3, Scene 3 line 40). Instead of her original fate of killing everyone in the way to be on top, now she's feeling guilty and goes and kills herself.

Even though it seems that they have differences when it comes to death and murder in different parts of the play, they are still somewhat of a hero. What that means
