Romeo and Juliet movie critique
For this assignment, I watched Romeo and Juliet with Rudolph Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn. This filmed dance was taped in 1966 and everything from the costumes to the sets made it seem very dated. But, the question was "did the filmmaker capture the dance and how" and below is my opinion on the question. In class, we discussed that moving picture dance is when dance and the motion picture components are contributors to the end result. In Romeo and Juliet, I do not feel that this happen
