Physical Activity
Physical activity is especially important to me because of the my heredity factors. My father is overweight and has several health complications due to his heredity factors. He had high blood pressure and type II diabetes. My grandmother has a heart disease in which requires medication on a daily basis for her several. My father's mother passed away two years ago due to heart disease and severe diabetes. Her daily mix of medicine included several pills and two shots to replace the insulin her liver did not make. In my life, physical activity is very important, but also almost impossible to do. I go to school full time and help run my parents business. If I had not have taken this class, I may have only talked about getting into the routine that I now have started. I now have learned to enjoy the benefits of regular exercise. The benefits range from more energy, to a sense of clearer thinking. Cardiorespiratory fitness is one on the basic components of physical fitness. CR fitness is a condition in which the body's cardiovascular and respiratory systems function together, especially during exercise or work, to ensure that adequate oxygen is supplied to the working muscles to produce energy. Cr fitness is need for prolonged, rh
ythmic use of the body's large muscle groups. A high level of CR fitness permits continuous physical activity without a decline in performance and allows for rapid recovery following fatiguing physical activity without a decline in performance and allows for rapid recovery following fatiguing physical activity. 2-3 ounces of cooked lean meat, poultry, or fish, 1.2 cup of cooked dry beans, 1 egg, or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter count as I ounce of lean meat. Activities such as running, road marching, bicycling, swimming, cross-country skiing, rowing, stair climbing, and jumping rope place an extra demand on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. During exercise, these systems attempts to supply oxygen to the working muscles. Most of this oxygen is used to produce energy for muscular contraction. Any activity that continuously uses large muscle groups for twenty minutes or longer taxes these systems. Because of this, a wide variety of training methods are used to improve cardiorespiratory endurances. I had a body fat percentage of about twenty-five percent. That is not much over the recommend level. I think that the abdominal area of my body is the only area that contains the most body fat.
