A detailed Summary of Brit Lit

The English Renaissance occured between the years 1485 and 1625. In this time ,

many incredible achievements were accomplished.

One of many things that occured during the renaissance was exploration. The English

partcicipted in the exploring with a sailor named John Cabot. He landed in Canada which

allowed England to have the ability to make clamis in North America.

Relgion was also apart of the English Renaissance. At this time they began to question

the church. The church that was in power right now was the roman catholic church. People

questioned them becasue they felt they were corrupt. During the years 1466 to 1536 an

addition of the New Testament was added that raised alot of questions. Aside f

parliment. King James hated the Puritians so much they left england for America in 1670.
