1. The most natural form of government is democracy. Disagree a. In "Lord of the Flies", the most natural form of government is not democracy. Instead it is anarchy. That is demonstrated when the constraint of civilizations are no longer in effect, the boys naturally convert or succumbed to anarchical government under Jack.

When he wrote "Lord of the Flies", he chose an island for the boys to be crashed into due to its unique circumstances/environment - which is the fact that it is cut off from rest of the world. In this way, the boys have to fend for themselves and they are severed from the reaches of civilization. Evidently this had dramatic impact on their morality.
