Creation VS. Evolution
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)"For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, His eternal power, and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." (Romans 1:20) Mankind has been here for a lot of years. Most people would like to know how we got here. There are four possibilities, the first being that the Universe created itself. This is called Evolution. This is false due to the First Law of Thermodynamics that says energy is not created or destroyed. It is also known as the "Law of Conservation." Energy is used or stored, but not created and destroyed. There are two others, The Universe has always been here and the Universe does not exist. The Universe could not have been here for forever, because of the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which says everything is decaying or dying. All scientists have accepted this law as well as the first. The third possibility is that the Universe doesn't exist. That just doesn't make sense. The final "possibility is that an intelligen
This is the theory of Evolution as stated by Jeremy E., also a member of the official Creation vs. Evolution team. "In the beginning of it all was a very small wad of pure energy, smaller than an atom. All of a sudden, it started expanding. A split second later, energy started condensing into matter." This is almost like a fictional story, you would hear as a kid. Just all of a sudden this little wad of energy started expanding. First of all what did that piece of energy evolve from. And then a split second later, did it just decide, oh I want to expand. This looks like a good time to expand. Whatever. Speaking of powers, God has all the powers. The Bible says that "in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day." (Exodus 20:11) He took the earth that was "without form and void", filled with darkness; and it was from that earth that was "without form and void" that He, in the next six days, turned it into what it is now.
