A Parent Decision
The story "Marriage is a Private Affair" and the poem "This Be the Verse" mademe analyze that parents decisions aren't always the best ones. I think when a parent decision do not agree with the lives of their children, it can cause conflict between them. I felt the story by Chinua Achebe and the poem by Philip Lankin gave me a great appreciation on the impact parents have on their children lives. We all have experienced our parent decision that we did not agree with. These two literatures have given me the opportunity to realize parents are not always right. This story "Marriage is a Private Affair" is dealing with a fathers decision That his son did not agree with.
