There is also a group called M.O.P.S. which stands for mothers of preschoolers. This group gives support to mothers and children who are transitioning from home to preschool. Churches can offer support to new parents by praying for them. New parents can attend Sunday mass and maybe hear a sermon on parenting that could give them good advice.
