The argument for continued fetal tissue research is a strong one. Fetal tissue is from a human embryo in the very early stages of development. This tissue is so useful because the tissue at this stage of human development can form any tissue in the human body. Society in the United States argues about to many things already and never concentrates on the good such treatments have on people. Maybe some in power or an activist against fetal tissue research needs to have his self or a family member treated by this procedure before real progress is made.
