The television series that I chose that reflects society is "The Simpsons". In each of those episodes, the characters help portray different facets of society. Another part of the television show that shows things about society is the plot line. In each scene of "The Simpsons" we get an idea of what the norms are and how each character is shown.
An example of society being a reflection of "The Simpsons" is the episode where Bart and Homer get a horse. There are a couple of scenes in that episode where we see society being reflected. There is a scene in that episode where we see how people with wealth and power are being treated. We also see what occurs when the rich and powerful come into conflict with the middle class as did happen on the show.

The fact that Mr. Burns was Homer's boss and had the money to finance Homer's team allowed him to be a member of his bowling team. Mr. Burns is symbolic of the rich and powerful.
