Everyone always says that when you meet that one person you are supposed to be with the rest of your life that you will know that they are the one the instant you meet him or her. For some of us that will never happen, but for the lucky people that it does happen to it is the greatest feeling in the world. Some of us may meet them when we are sixteen others may not meet theirs till they are sixty. That true love is out there you just have to be one of the lucky people to find it.
I was one of the lucky people. I met my match, and he was everything I had ever hoped for. His name was Hunter. The first time I ever saw him was 1998 and I was in the eighth grade and I had no idea who he was. He was fourteen and I was thirteen. I saw him at a drum line competition at my sister's high school. He was in the same drum line as one of my good friends. I was watching their show and he locked eyes with me and kept looking at me throughout the whole show. When they got off the floor I asked my friend whom he was. He did not know him very well and only knew that he was about my age and his name was Hunter. Now that I am moved we still talk every chance we get, and we try to see each other every chance we get to. I really think that he is the one. From the first time he held me or the first time he kissed me I knew it just felt right. I had found my one the person that I was meant to be with the rest of my life. Now that we are apart I really can say that I have true feelings for him. I hope that we will be together forever. And I hope that everyone can find their special someone in their life.
It was the next year I was a sophomore in high school and I had never really thought about him again. I tried out for the Nashville Youth Symphony that year and had made it. The first night of rehearsal I walk in and he is there. I started to freak out and wonder what I was going to say to him. Well, I did not have enough time to talk to him but I was last chair so I sat next to the percussion section so I got to be near him all night. Well, after practice a few other people and I were going to go out to eat. When I got there he was there. I was so happy I finally got to be introduced to him. We started talking a little nothing really that major. Then him and the rest of the guys (I was the only girl) started talking about drum line so I really did not say too much the rest of the night.
We started to get very close and one day I got the nerve up to tell him how I felt.
