What right does the government have to take that from an individual who is not hurting anyone? There are several major anti-gun control groups, such as the National Rifle Association and The Gun Owners of America, whom believe that citizens are "entitled to the ownership and legal use of firearms". One major reason that guns might never be banned is because we have former President George Bush and Ronald Reagan that are members of the National Rifle Association. If our former Presidents believed we have the right to ownership of guns for either protection or hobbies, it is more likely that guns will never be banned.
