Taking Care of My Parents
My parents raised me and cared for me. Now it is my turn to care for them. But my parents are still young and healthy. I grew and learned a lot from my parents. Now I want to do what they did for me, but I think it’s a mixing of apples and oranges.In the past it wasn't unusual for the "family home" to house grandparents, parents and children. People were less mobile and most were born, lived and died in the same community. We look to the past for guidance, yet things have changed.
