Definition of Life
A detailed Summary of Definition of Life
Life is a bridge. Cross over it, but build no house on it.
Life is not always what it is cracked up to be. Hardships, struggle, and crisis happen every minute of every day. We go through life not really knowing or understanding what life really is about. Essentially, to have a life you must be alive, but that is not necessarily the most important aspect. For example, if you were brain dead, but are still alive is that considered life? Perhaps, but perhaps not.
If you look back to earlier cultures life was not always held in high regard, but not much has changed. Take for instance the terrorist attacks taken against the United States last year on September 11th. How many lives were taken, irresponsibly, with no regard for human life present. Or, another example is sixty years ago when Japan launched an attack on Pearl Harbor with their suicide pilots. I believe all life should be held with respect and high regard because it is not anyone?s place to judge somebody else life. We do not know why we are here or how long we will be here, so we should respect other people and their life as we do our own. All living things are of the same essence and most do not realize t

Life is not, in any way, immortality. I do not believe there is anything after the life we are living now. Victor S. Pritchett once said, ?Life-how curious is that habit makes us think it is not here, but elsewhere.? For centuries man has believed that this life is only a pre-cursor to what may come. What hard information do we base this idea on? None that I have found. All religions believe in some form of life after death theory, but I only see false hope. I believe the idea of immortality is a device for most of the people who have lives that they are unhappy in and their hope is that there will be something better when we die. But, there are stipulations to immortality also. You must follow the rules to be so richly rewarded with a perfect life after death. This is a concept I cannot understand. What if this is as good as it gets?
he beauty in that. We are all human beings, living together on this planet. The only true things that are different between a people are the climate, region, and diet. But because of the endless wars and emphasizing things that are non-essential we have lost touch with the principal of unity.
Life is not all bad. There are sides
