Many of us think that a witch hunt is a thing of the past. As crazy as it seems, witch hunts are still very alive in the society that we live in today. Now, these witch hunts may not be the same as they were back in the days of salem, but they still exist. Many witch hunts are now based o on physical evidence, where in the past the witch hunts were based on suspicion. There have been many witch hunts, and witch trials in the past few hundred years, and most of them have been in the past century or so. Many people think witch craft is a religion that is satanic and evil, but others think that it is fine to do, and that is why we have all these cases on trial today. Witch craft can be detected in a numerous amount of ways. Anywhere from possessing costumes, to killing animals. A lot of modern cases happened at daycare centers, when the carer was found dancing around, or in a state of hysteria, somtimes abusing the children physically or sexually. Witch craft should not be considered a thing of the past because there have been enough modern cases of it for it not to be considered extinct.
