Whats Better for Mankind
In the world today the biggest global issue is Capitalism among people mainly Americans but in all people really. With today's world you need money to survive and lead a healthy life style this leads to why people are for profit and not for the well being of others. You live only once and you should live it the way it makes you happiest. How can you just sit back and give other people money as you a person of the United States if the Declaration of Independence which we all live by says "life In the free market economy everyone is driven by his own ambitions for wealth and success. That's what free trade means stated by Robert W. Tracinski, "That no one may demand the work, effort, or money of another without offering to trade something of value in return." This states that if both partners in a trade do not feel that they are gaining from the trade then they are free to go elsewhere. The famous formulation by Adam Smith "This means that every trade is made by mutual consent and to the trader's mutual advantage." This then meaning that everyone comes out happy in there eyes because if they weren't happy then they could just walk away from a trade. Many people condemn the ways of Capitalism and view this approach as selfish. Th
In the words of John Galt, "I swear-by my life and by my love of it-that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine." Now with that said what is meant by this? Should every man live by this? The answer is yes they should. Why should anyone live for the sake of another man when ultimately they cannot be happy with the other mans standards? The standard of life is a man's values which supports the man's life which is the good then that which destroys his life is the evil. en if they are selfish they take their lives seriously and they are using their right to pursue their own happiness. If we were not selfish then nobody would own their own lives. What if you would have to do jobs that are required by they state. So they have to do something other than what they want this making them only a tool used in society. Working conditions are a sacrifice that all places have to make to cut costs and up the profit. In the business world today many people work in a cubical that is a 6x6 room. Are they happy some might be some might hate it but this is the kind of things we have to do in order to have things happen. So they cannot make all people happy in order to get things done they need to make those necessary cuts such as the working environment. If they were to put every worker in a room that has cable a nice leather recliner can they expect that employee to work hard as they would if they had the conditions of most people in the big factories that can reach unbelievable temperatures? They wouldn't work half as hard so this is also a way for companies to get more work out of the employees. All the articles that you read condemning the way these companies pay there employees are a dishonest campaign to get you on there side. Such as sweatshops in the Middle East all we hear is the bad with no logic of why. In the search for the right thing to do which is what everyone is trying to do in this world. First take a look at what we want or need and think about what is best for man kind. If everyone was to do this we would be ok. Live your life not someone else's. We assume many times that someone's life is bad but it could be the best they could do depending where they live. Such as in David Lambs article; Job Opportunity or Exploi
