Mass spectroscopy also common referred to as mass spectrometry is a process in which ionized molecules or atoms are separated according to their electric charge and mass. Now why would anyone ever want to do this you ask? In the following paragraphs I will be explaining exactly what mass spectroscopy is in detail, how it is used, and how it is beneficial to us in our everyday lives.
