The Social Security program has transformed the country's seniors, once the most destitute group in society, into its most prosperous. With all the benefits that come from the program, it is no wonder that the eminent threat of Social Security bankruptcy is disturbing and a hot political issue. As of recently, professionals began predicting that the program would go broke as soon as the oversized baby boom generation entered its "golden years." There are critics on both ends of the spectrum in regards to the so-called "Social Security Crisis."
