Sir Thomas Moore

Thomas More was born on February 7,1478 in Milk Street, London. He attended school at St Anthony's School in London. When he was young he was a page for Archbishop Morton who predicted he would be a "marvelous man.". He then went on to study at Oxford under Thomas Linacre along with William Grocyn. He wrote comedies and studied Greek and Latin literature. One of his first things that he wrote was an English translation of a Latin biography of the Italian Pico Della Mirandolla.
