September 11, 2001 is a very significant day for all United States citizens and will always be remembered just like Pearl Harbor is remembered. There are some people though, that believe that eventually it will be forgotten. The author of an article called "Why life will never be the same" says: "Researchers have long known that the memory of epochal events fades with time." According to experts, this is called flashbulb memory. Flashbulb memory is the sudden onset of a clear memory of an emotionally significant moment or event. Even though North Americans, throughout the years, will forget details, now days some USA citizens think that this attack should be responded to with rage because it has been a massacre, crime, invasion, and a statement. Bus my question is: why with rage?

Now think about this. If the United States, as mentioned before, is a Christian nation and to be Christian means to be imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1), why are they planning to attack? Why should the correct response be rage? It's true that God has rage, but he doesn't strike us with a lightning each time we sin. He forgives us and loves us. We are humans and our sinful nature does not permit us to act 100% as God acts but President George Bush as the leader of a nation should be the one setting an example of love and acting like God to the people that live there. It is not an easy situation what North America has gone through, but life goes on and we must forgive and forget (at least try) and begin a new life. The correct response should be peace and tranquility because God has this impacting situation in His hands.
